Bolton Landing is a small community with high home prices and low taxes. It sits at the shore of Lake George in an area of immense natural beauty. People are very friendly and neighborly - they stop their cars so you can cross the street! The stately Sagamore resort hotel provides income during 'the season' as do many nice shops in town. It's cold up there but physically beautiful and the only place I have ever lived where if you get stuck in your car the next person to come by will help you! A great little community.
