Review of Brookville, Pennsylvania

Brookville. Village of Brooks and Streams
Star Rating - 6/20/2019
This town has a lot going for it. Beautiful and historic Main Street and downtown. Great people and community, schools and activities, natural beauty and resources. Brookville is the County Seat of Jefferson County. It is located in the Allegheny Mountain foothills on Interstate 80 that runs East/West from NYC to SFO. Nearby cities are Pittsburgh, Cleveland and State College. It is the gateway to Allegheny National Forest to the North and Punxsutawney to the South. Brookville is built on seven hills around the confluence of 3 rivers North Fork, Sandy Lick and Redbank that flow to the Ohio and Mississippi watersheds. Area industries include Lumber, Brick, Metalwork, Machine Tools, Natural Gas, Whiskey, Organic Farming, Trucking Services, and Recreational Tourism.
