We've lived in Bryan for 5 years, and what a "big small town" it is! The things that attracted us have not dimmed: Performing arts theater draws quality talent from the region, with $10 performances equal to $40 tickets in the bigger cities; quaint and lively downtown square with one of the architecturally best City Hall building to be found anywhere; thriving churches instill solid values and reduce "moral retardation" in the community; city power/cable/high-speed-internet; low cost of living and low (but not depressed) housing market; solid schools; very low crime; reasonable taxes; just enough fast food and shopping to make most outings a 5-mile round trip, and monthly trips to the big specialty stores or a mall are only 20 to 40 minutes away.
Some household-name small companies are based here, and they contribute to the community.
All in all ? Great ! It's hard to imagine a better small-town life than Bryan, Ohio.
