Home is where the heart is...

I haven't lived in Buffalo for almost 10 years, but I always refer to it as my home because that's where my family still lives. I couldn't wait to move out of Buffalo when I was younger, but I do miss a lot about it now. I especially miss all the parks Buffalo and the surrounding suburbs have. I miss hiking at Chestnut Ridge park. I miss jogging around the Botanical Gardens in South Buffalo. And I miss all the sidewalks and ample bike lanes! I also miss the variety of great restaurants Buffalo has to offer! Great Italian food, awesome Greek food, and of course, the best places for pizza and wings! And I can't leave out that I miss going to Sabres and Bills games! Buffalo is a fun place to live, and the winters aren't as bad as everyone thinks. I have a ton of wonderful memories growing up playing in the snow and stil recall fondly anticipating getting a snow day and school would be closed! :) Another bonus is that you're not only exposed to a lot of different climates (fall in NY just can't be beat) you're exposed to a lot of cultures, too. And the people are friendly and some of the best neighbors you could ask for.
