This city has a lot to offer besides snow. The people are very friendly and the city has a great sense of community. The cultural offerings and sport activities are first rate. Violent crime is much lower than in the sunbelt cities like Charlotte ans Atlanta.
Lake Erie which is the reason for the snow has a positive effect as it is a buffer against the more severe acts of nature like tornados.
The city is in a great location as it is near Niagra Falls,Toronto and the open spaces of Western New York State,
