Miserable

I moved here from California and the weather is unbearable. The humidity and heat keeps us indoors most of the summer. We just run to the air-conditioned car. Winter isn't bad. Just a few inches of snow, unless you get an ice storm. Our first winter here we were frozen in for days without electricity and gas. I thought we were going to freeze to death. I live in the heart of the town. I know that the folks in the rural areas were without services for many days. Unless you love heat, humidity and thunder...run away.
