Desirability of Residency in Columbia Township, Lo

I have lived here for the last 20 years and have seen a real decline in the employment in our township. Our illustrious board of education now wants a permanent levy to build a new school when they have failed for almost 40 years to maintain what they have. One of our township trustees recognized areas in current photographs in the elementary school that he, when he was the township fire chief in 1975, ordered cleaned because they are a fire hazard. The clean-up has never occurred. This is 37 years after a fire chief ordered it. The Columbia Township school board would make the community wholly unattractive to new residents. I urge anyone who wishes to relocate to Columbia Township to attend township and school board meetings before moving into the community -- you just might find it distasteful.
