Columbus, Ohio - A comfortable place

Columbus, Ohio is comfortable. People are generally friendly and helpful. The economy is healthy, although it has challenges like most places. Being the capital of the state and having several universities in the city are stabilizing factors. The weather is generally mild, sometimes very hot/humid in mid-summer; and winter is becoming more mild and wet and sloppy, rather than the cold and snowy winters of the past. The cost of living is very reasonable, at least compared to many other areas of the country.
