Columbus is a seriously conservative town, and the only Black people that have real opportunities here are those that fit into the Bryan Gumball/Wayne Brady mold. There are no real cultural activities for Black people here except for the one or two events during the summer. As far as the arts go, there are no Black museums or Black theaters here. Most of the successful Black people are those that are careful not to do or say anything that might "offend" the wrong people. There is alot of shucking and jiving done by Blacks here and if you're not willing to be like that, then you are considered an outcast.
