Review of Columbus, Ohio

Can I support my family?

I am looking into relocating to Columbus area from Illinois. Since I would be the only person working (hopefully not forever) I need to know if a salary of 44k can support a family of five in the Columbus area. Also, need school info (elem, middle and high - I have one at each level) I would appreciate links to other websites that you believe could be helpful to me in making this decision.

My husband has not worked in 3 years, I work PT. Needless to say we have been struggling and it just seems to get worse. I need to know if moving to Ohio is going to improve things for my family.....

Stacie, since you are in Physical Therapy and you want to move to Ohio you would honestly be better off moving to Cleveland. Have you tried contacting the Cleveland Clinic? The Cleveland Clinic is one of the best hospital systems in the country. I used to live in Cleveland and I honestly wouldn't mind moving back if I had the opportunity. Please try the Cleveland-Mentor-Elyria area.
