Review of Columbus, Ohio

Good Cost of living Bad for black though.

Great cost of living and affordable mortgages however this city is full of racist white supremacist who try to be sneaky with it but you know thats what they are doing.

I don't think police is really a big issue. The big issue is how the whites treat African Americans on the job and the wrongful terminations galore. You want your civil rights violated repeadidly on the job? This is the place to be.

They use white priviledge here like toilet paper and they dont even hide it like other states due to this being a Trump state. Part of the issue is the massive influx of east african immigrants who go along with the practice of white supremacy.

Of course this makes it harder on american born blacks to have social justice and equality because the east african immigrants comply with the racism.

If you are african american I would skip Columbus maybe Cleveland is better for blacks indont know but Columbus has a huge race problem they just don't like to talk about it.

Sorry to disappoint, but Ohio is a swing state!

Yup the the fact that they create employment laws protecting them from being sued, just so they can dominate and mistreat blacks, shows that they dont want equality.

First of all, city boundaries don't matter. You have to look at the entire metro area and as far as I'm concerned, the metro area is easily among the best of peer cities. It's a white collar city, the population is educated. It is slightly progressive, but not too over the top. Compare to Kansas City, Memphis, Portland, Cincinnati and Indianapolis, and to me it's better. Nashville gets a lot of good press these days, but except for the nice areas, I didn't see what the big deal was about Nashville. Charlotte I don't know enough about, but it seems like there would be more bank people and corporate types, which doesn't exactly give me the warm and fuzzies. If you're looking for a lot of nightlife, this place isn't it. But if you're looking for a nice place to live with a lot of curb appeal, Metro Columbus is pretty good. Let's put it this way, Metro Columbus has basically doubled in population since 1980. If it wasn't a good place, people wouldn't be moving here.

I CAN BELIEVE IT. WHITE SUPREMACY IS SILENTLY SUPPORTED BY THOSE WHO "THINK" IT GIVES THEM A SUPERIOR POSITION IN SOCIETY. IF YOU NEED THAT AS A CRUTCH, IT ACTUALLY WEAKENS YOU BECAUSE IT SHOWES THAT YOU CAN'T COMPETE WHEN ALL IS FAIR AND EQUAL.

You've hit the nail on the head with the whole white privilege/sabotoge on the job type of thing. My experience with columbus job market was soo bad I found not 1 but TWO jobs in Detroit. Right after detroits bankruptcy. I went up there & killed it on the mileage compensation. Racism IS everywhere (as the racists say) they just use it alot more efficiently in Cbus & Pittsburgh, Cleveland & st. Louis to keep blacks in a lower more disadvantaged position. Blacks need the unions more than ever to keep things fair in the workplace.
