CT is Best of Both Worlds

As a result of a new job in Mansfield, Massachussetts, my wife and I have started looking for a new place to live to reduce the current 1 1/2 Hr commute from Vernon to Mansfield 3 days per week. We have visited many towns in MA already and have done some research using your site to evaluate eductation, crime, cost of living, air and water quality data. We still believe CT is a great place to live. Most towns offer large supermarkets and retail outlets nearby and the quality of our education and health care systems is excellent. Access to fresh water and salt water beaches is generally less than an 1 1/2 hr drive. We have been spoiled by CT. Unfortunately, CT is losing alot of industries due in part to their high corporate tax rate and high cost of living. Unfortunately, I have followed my high-tech customers into MA and must relocate.
