north east connecticut has everything i look for. small towns with lots of wooded areas, easy access to major highways and major cities(boston,ma, new york, hartford,ct, providence,ri,) lots of lakes and ponds for fishing, a beautiful coast line with the warmest salt water in new england. tons of historic sites from colonial homes to maritime museums and light houses, all the things you come to new england for.
