Review of Corona, California

not the place for me, but maybe for you
Star Rating - 10/5/2010
I was born and raised in Corona and didn't move away until I was 21. It's a 2 season place: Summer and Not-summer. Most of the summer it is in the 90's and it regularly gets over 100 degrees, especially in July-September but it is a dry heat. Stepping outside an air-conditioned house or car during those days is comparable to the burst of hot air you feel after opening an oven. It's no Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV... but its still friggin hot and miserable. Not-summer is nice because it's not summer. Nothing special about it, you just don't have to drive to the beach or mountains to be comfortable outdoors.

Expect lots and lots of sunshine. The "storms" as the weather guys call it are usually pretty laughable if you've experienced real weather. If you're tired of winter and can't afford to live on the CA coast, the Corona area might work for you. If you're like me and enjoy 4 seasons, stay away.
