Review of Dallas, Texas

A modern West Berlin.
Star Rating - 11/13/2012
In a state populated by stereotypical hicks (Texas has 17 registered firearms per every citizen including underage children), Dallas is the least dirtiest shirt in a laundry basket of dirty shirts.

Only stark contrasts here, a resident is either highly enlightened and tightly snobbish because they spent their formative years out of state or they're astoundingly dumb as the stereotypical Texan.

Dallas is a small cultural microcosm surrounded by a vast wasteland devoid of culture and commerce just like West Berlin before reintegration and similarly to the same deprived East Germans.

The weather is always hot or hotter and HUUUmmmmiddd !

Only two kinds of drivers here, maniacally crazy and because they're fleeing from the other type of driver that is amazingly stupid and unbelievably slow.

I agree that Texas and that includes Dallas is full of hicks. THere is a lot of racism here and it is lost of people who move here and see interracial couples. In corporate america that is still very much white male dominated you can see it clearly. It is also very boring in Dallas. Dallas lacks cultural activities and I am black and in my opinion Dallas lacks a sense of black pride or black community activism. I am looking to leave.

Dearest Beverly Hills...it would appear that there exists more than a bit of bitterness around your feelings for the State of Texas and in particular the DFW area. Your rampant spewing of stereotypes devoid of any supporting factual points drives your post into the realm of worthless. For the record, open-minded and courteous folks witness one-in-four DFW residents who hold a university degree. This ranks the area in the top 50 most educated cities in the country. What is an 'underage children'? Regarding comments made about firearm-related homicides in Texas and DFW, the World Health Organization and the FBI paint an entirely different picture. In ranking the States against firearm-related homicides per 100k people, Texas ranks 24th. States that have more firearm-related homicides per 100k people than Texas include California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Oregon. These are also states with the strictest gun laws in the United States. 'Eagle' from Beverly Hills, I am sorry for your bitterness and I hope you find love soon.
