Ellenville is a beautiful, small community nestled in a valley approximately 90 North of New York City. Recently we lost our industrial base when two factories closed, losing about 1000 jobs, a staggering number for a small community. The only remaining large employer is New York State Eastern correctional prison.

People who live here are trying to leave...it's been horrible Mr Edward J. since 2007 it's declined even more so...but you already know that. No one moves to NY state...we'd leave if we could-TAX YOU TO DEATH !
