I've lived in this city past 15 year, I've watch it crumble. In the past 5 years over 9 businesses closed down including target herbugers KFC and several smaller componys it strives of long family owned business that have not changed or contributed to its community needs downtown is a waste of time store fronts and curb apale lack interest . dining is so old it sets to food options of early 90ds the drug epidemic is sickening heroin and opioid use is out of control along with its meathafedem epidemic. A mall that is a waste of space is still functioning because of a dollar store , movie theater , home depo and a sports store. Rental options lack.
DO to slumlords, out dated home options. 3 moble home parks that are infested with child molesters drug offenders . [ SADLY ]work market is flooded with drug addicts and lack of proper education. A child protection devision that lacks the experience to make proper determinations of family assessments. School system is lacking in faculty space,academic along with programs if you as a parent wants a good school option its olv privet cathlic oriented or Underwood public school witch is a 20 min drive high school would be Lutheran based Hillcrest s in town it's over welmed with banks at least 12,insurance ferms. 14 law ferms 10 church well Fergus fall is is numbur on in the world per capita that speaks for itself 4 bars amarican legion eagls also 2 sports bars one with a conference center. Over 8 motels hotels o hey 5 dollars gets a day in a pool or pay 400 plus for family use yearly at the YMCA are hospatal and clinc options lack aswell lake regen health care is not up to subpar takes 1 to 2 months to see a primary.. other option walk in clinc. surgical department lacks half the time need to go to Sanford in Fargo or mayo center in Rochester mn. Also the child molestation rate is unbelievable.
The good ... crime rate is very low... plenty of factory farming construction work. Along with grate pay options sorry to say but this is all that is worth in this town so called city..
