I have lived in Flowood for 11 years (2010 moved).
Pros: Location wise one the best places in the state with low crime and great place to raise kids. Taxes are not high. Good shopping areas locally and not too far from the airport and the interstate.
Cons: Churches are about collecting money in the entire state. They re-write the Bible to fit their agendas. Unless you have a job awaiting in the area, good paying quality jobs are impossible to find if you lose the one that brought you there. Texas/Louisiana have much more friendlier people.
