Honesty.

For starters, there is NOT almost 7 thousand people in Forks but 3-4k.
I would recommend forks to live for only certain groups :
If you've had a hectic life and you're ready for some quiet and don't mind just doing your own thing for retiring.
You already have family/friends here.
You're bringing your friends/family with you because you got a job here before moving.
For everyone else, just come here for a motel so that you can enjoy the scenery of the national parks nearby.
It doesn't get very hot in the summer. It rains most of the year and 4 times as much as the other side of the county. Which isn't a problem but if you have seasonal depression it might be a problem for you.
The people that are 'from here' that are not natives are very snooty. They don't seem to much care for newcomers to the point that... example... I've seen about 5 hair places just off the main road, and none of them will act like they want to cut your hair except for Phuong.
The doctors office is poor. There are only Primary care providers that probably do well with just colds and flus and spranged ankles. If you are sick beyond that, you will die before they can figure out what is wrong with you.
If you have a special needs child, they're ill equipped and the staff at the school changes a lot because people come in from far away and will finish a school year, realize they can't stand forks, and they will leave.
The grocery store is so overpriced that you can't afford to eat healthy unless you spend over 400 a month for a family of 2 (thin adult and child). The baggers can't bag. So your overpriced produce will be wrecked. If any other place has tried to start a cheaper or healthier market or co op. The grocery will underprice them until the small business goes under and closes, and the grocery will jack their prices back up then.
There's a small cafe called Spoons. The food is good considering it's hospital food but definitely not healthy. It's open to the public. But again, if you aren't from here, don't bother. Because you will walk in and everyone will just stop and stare at you or blatantly ignore your very existence if you try to interact. The cashier is kind, but there are no words for the attitudes of the customers (mostly hospital staff) if they feel like you don't belong.
If you have an out of state ID, it doesn't matter if you are and look old enough. One of the gas stations will give you problems
