Its a dry heat

Desert temperatures are expectably high, and at some few hundred feet above sea level and at the edge of the Mojave Desert, Fort Mo has seen many days topping over 110 degrees F in a row, up to nearly three weeks of 110 to 120 degree heat. This is not reported on the national weather channels, generally. I don't care how dry it is, I've walked around a few hours in August at 120 plus degrees, and it is scary. You feel like your eyeballs are cooking when you ride a motorcycle in this heat. Shower water turned all the way to cold will still be almost too hot to shower in, cause the ground is heating it before it gets to your house.
