Fort Pierce has both beautiful pristine Atlantic Ocean Beaches and Indian River Lagoon state of the art marinas. The two are linked by the best ocean inlet in the state of Florida. The great historic award winning downtown is between Vero Beach and Palm Beach. Retirees are fast discovering that Fort Pierce is a gold mine for home buyers. Housing is a fraction of the cost from much of the country. Paradise for much less the cost. Fort Pierce is also the home of Indian River Fruit.
