I haven't lived anywhere else but this area, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but, from what I hear, we have it pretty good here. The schools are one of the finest in the state, with our kids receiving great test scores and awards for sports and music. Our housing is top notch. Quality builders, large lots and houses, all at a very affordable price. Yes, Indiana is quite flat with many acres of fields that aren't as picturesque as a mountain range or a beach at the ocean, but, we have our beautiful spots too. Green rolling areas full of hardwood and pine trees, deer, squirrels and birds abundant. Snow storms that blanket everything in sparkling white! There is a lot of pride here in and it shows in well kept neighborhoods where flowers bloom all season long, lawns are manicured and parks are well equipped. It's a nice place to raise a family!
