Review of Fostoria, Ohio

A Diamond in the Rough
Star Rating - 8/17/2009
Fostoria has been given a bad rap over the years. Yes it is a blue collar town, but what's wrong with that? It is not the crime-ridden ghetto that people have tried to portray it to be. This community embraces its diversity. It is attempting to make something positive from its heritage in art glass and railroads. I chose to move here and I'm glad that I did. The people are friendly. The town has a small-town feel but isn't too small. And any amenities that aren't here in town are a short drive away. There is a tremendous amount of potential here just waiting to be discovered. It is truly a diamond in the rough.
