Fox Island Washington has an active Crime Watch program. This program operates under the direction of the Fox Island Community Recreation Association (FICRA),serving island residents. An island Citizen's Patrol program operates in conjunction with the Pierce County Washington Sheriff's department, other state law enforcement agencies, and community emergency preparedness groups for the safety and security of island residents.
