Frackville PA Decent Growing up but downhill since

I Grew up here in Frackville and left after graduating college years ago. When I grew up it was decent, my parents still live here. But the same problems remain, poor local corrupt politics and outdated systems in government services. I recall the snow removal and the Borough roads were horrible as a kid and parents always complained. One thing I do notice when I visit is the downtown got worse from 25 years ago and the nearby mall just south of town, which was popular then, is now demolished. Just like a lot of smaller towns in America oligarchy-type governments and organizations emerge and you always get the same last names in power in both local organizations and government. All and all it could have been worse growing up here, but it seems like it's definitely not as good now as it was in the 80s and 90s and many of my friends moved out since then.
