Lack of Public Transportation

I love where I live. I love the neighborhood and the proximity to the things I need. However, I don't love the fact that my job is 20 miles away and it takes 45 minutes to get there. They are putting a light rail system in, but it won't help me at all. I wish there were better means of public transportation that flow throughout the Phoenix metro area.
