Humid in summer, cold in winter

Grayslake weather is very difficult to enjoy outdoor activities. In summer, it is SO humid and hot and full of mosquitos that you cannot enjoy a beautiful summer night. Winters are cold and bitter and usually have a lot of snow - heavy snow that is backbreaking to shovel. You can enjoy a few weeks in Fall.
