On the positive side, Great Bend boasts inexpensive housing, small town living, a low crime rate, and a sky that you can see forever.

On the down side, Great Bend is too windy, usually smells like a feed lot, and, unless shopping at WalMart is your thing, does not offer much in the way of retail selection.
