You are absolutely correct Kyle. My Dad was stationed here in the 1960s and I thought back then that Hampton was 'questionable'. Now it has become a place for societies' miserable, unfortunate refuse. There are very little 'nice' neighborhoods, and really, no shopping centers. The one that was supposed to be the 'answer', is now littered with empty stores. Additionally, the neighborhoods that are 'nice' are sandwiched between those that are not. Even Foxhill which used to be very much like Poquoson, cannot escape from the infestation that has taken over Hampton. Now that my nephew has graduated from Kecoughtan High School, my brother and his wife are leaving this place. So much potential, so much ghetto. Coming back here was shocking.
