The schools here are horrible. 2-3 arrests a week at the one my wife teaches at. Everyone I know has had something stolen from them if left outside for any length of time.Every neighorhood has it's own street gang, resulting in segregated buses from the school. Violent crime is definately a problem. Theft is pretty bad as well. The general attitude of the community is indifference and acceptance. I'm leaving after 3 months of being here. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they like the "gangsta" way of life, there are too many children running rampant in the streets, trying desperately to be little "thugs," it's sad.
