The Hispanic population is much greater than the 3.10% and may actually be closer to 50%. We have many Hispanic restaurants, delis, and bodegas.
My favorite deli is "Famous Deli" the staff is very friendly and the traditional foods they serve taste like home cooked meals. One reason your statistics are off may be because many of them are not here legally so they do not participate in the census
