The community of Hernando Beach is made up of beautiful waterfront homes nestled along the Gulf of Mexico in Hernando County Florida. "The Beach" as the locals call it, is a casual waterfront community located just north of the Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater area. The homes in Hernando Beach are a mixture of both ground level and stilt homes located along canals leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Most homes have floating docks on the canal behind their home and boating is on top of the list for recreational activities for Hernando Beach residents. There are homes for sale in both the direct access area in the north part of Hernando Beach and indirect access area in the south part of the community. It doesn't matter where you live in Hernando Beach the breath-taking sunsets are "free" and happening daily!!
