hoboken cost of living

I moved to Hoboken 20 yrs ago taking over my brothers apartment,Im still here, it was an economical way to work in NYC and keep a few dollars. Since then it has turned into the 6th borough of NY,by being priced out of what were then resonable rents .The town has improved greatly with restaurants and cleanliness crime is down ,but the good feel of a somewhat gritty town has been lost
