Downtown Indianapolis is a nice place to visit any time of the day or night. I feel safe with me and my family except on Friday or Saturday nights around the Circle Center Mall. Although it is safe, too many young kids are hanging around. They aren't shopping, only walking around in groups. This is the only real issue I've had while being downtown. This area has a good night life with excellent dining.
