Review of Indianapolis, Indiana

retired
Star Rating - 1/5/2008
We're retired with enough income to live just about anyplace - within reason of course. Since we're both mid-westerners we like the change of seasons but don't need the extremes of very hot summers and severe winters. Indianapolis is moderate in both climate and taxes so we think it's a great place to live.
We travel extensively both domestic and foreign but enjoy returning home because Indy is a "rational" place to live from day to day. We're a four hour drive from Chicago, a couple hours by air to New York, and generally have good flight connections to just about anyplace.
