Review of Indianapolis, Indiana

Indy climate as compared to Chicago.
Star Rating - 4/16/2009
Comparing Indy to my old hometown of Chicago,Indy has a milder "Midwest" climate. It has a much more extended spring and fall season, giving way to a greater transitional period before winter and summer. That is good news for gardeners! The climate in Indy really starts to change south of Lafayette In. Areas north of Lafayette IN seem to have similar weather patterns as Chicago.
