I have lived in Indianapolis my whole life. My parents moved here from the East Coast before I was born. Unfortunately, for various reasons, I never made it out. I have worked in other regions though, and growing up spent every summer on the East Coast. The people, in general, are very narrow minded here, our students rank LAST in academics, our population ranks near the top in obesity and the crime is getting more violent. Granted, we don't have the long commutes or the major traffic jams that other large cities do and our housing is very affordable. This is great....IF you can find a job. Someone mentioned our zoo...fine, but it costs a fortune to bring a family of four and does not compare to the Cincinnati or St. Louis zoo.
So if you plan on moving here, just bring your Bible and learn to say "....it don't....".
