Florida is probably one of the best places to entertain your childrcn. Living in Florida you will find that for every season, there is a sport. There are basketball leagues, football games, soccer, karate, ballet, tennis, softball, swimming competitions, kung fu, and of course, baseball. Baseball is probably the longest running sport here. First you have the normal baseball season, which lasts for approximately 3 months. Then, if your team was successful during the season, you move onto championship tournaments. Beyond that, if chosen, you are selected for the All-Star teams. Technically, baseball can run into 5 months or so of night after night 3 - 4 hour games. Being a mother of 3 boys, I've experienced the baseball drama for more than just one year, with all three boys playing, all on different teams, practicing all on different days, in different parks, at different times, and different game schedules. Would I change a thing? Not on your life! This is a once-in-a-lifetime thrill that no mother would trade for anything in the world. I love my boys and love watching them grow!
