The weather in Jesup, GA can be unpredictable. Known for it's long droughts, this spring and summer saw record rainfalls. In fact, in the city recently, they received 6 inches of rain within a one hour time period, while not 5 minutes south of the town, they received only 3 inches total. While the winters can be cool, they are usually quite mild, with highs sometimes reaching in to the uppers 60s to low 70s in late December or early January. The summers are classically Southern, with high humidity and swealtering temperatures. All ripe conditions for those pesky gnats and mosquitos, some the size of moths.
