Review of Jupiter, Florida

Jupiter, FL – the exclamation point at the end of Palm Beach county! Beautiful natural area – parks, beaches, ICW, bike lanes, and art festivals from January through early May. It's a wonderful place to vacation, but not the place to live.

The town offers no community. It exists for visitors, the wealthy absentee property owners who come to their $2-3,000,000 McMansion properties during “the Season” to play golf and get away from the cold. They bring attitude...ATTITUDE.

If you want to be part of a community and live among friendly neighbors, Jupiter is NOT for you. There are too many empty houses that are s-o-m-e-t-i-m-e-s occupied by snowbirds who aren't involved with the community.

Rent a place for a while before you move here permanently and experience the emptiness for yourself.

Its called live and let live, and not everyone is interested in getting involved with their neighbors and building community, they want to live life take care of their own families and mind their damn business. It sounds to me as though you are someone who needs attention and if he doesn't get it will call people names and misjudge them, or doesn't know how to mind his own business so your right this place wouldn't be for you at all , good assessment . I would love it here. :)

I am always surprised by the many different points of view. When one is content within themselves, they certainly do not need crowds of people around other than the services that every community needs. People of means that visit a community that bring an ATTITUDE we all dislike. This arrogance is everywhere there are people- today's youth bring entitlement attitude, what you going to do..move to the moon? i here good things about this city and my wife and I will visit this June to meet a realtor and see how it fits- the thought of empty homes 50% of the year sounds good to me! less crowds
