When I was assigned to work here I never thought I would like the area, I was wrong. We have lived here 15 years now and love it here. The transportation system here was well planned, as it is easy to get around town. The population of Kennewick is about 60,000, but Pasco and Richland share borders with Kennewick which really give the area about a populatin of 180,000. There is a community college and W.S.U. campus located here. The economy is doing well here and housing is very affordable. We have the best weather in the state. Lots of parks in the area. There are three major rivers that meet here and the area offers great water sports and fishing. We have several great golf courses here as well. You can be in some beautiful mountains, by heading east you will be in the Blue mountains and if you go west you will be in the Cascades. Either way is about an hour drive. The people here are on the conservative side and very friendly. Another nice thing about living here is we are aproximently 2 hours from Spokane, 3 Hours to Seattle,3&1/2 hours to Portland, and 4&1/2 hours to Boise.
