Lake Cavanaugh - Rainy Wonderland

I have a second home on Lake Cavanaugh and I love it here. However, I noticed that this website says that Lake Cavanaugh gets 44 inches of rain a year. That is simply wrong. The lake is in a temperate rain forest. While I am not a meteorologist, I measure rain fall each year. The lowest total I have measured is 93 inches, the highest is 143 inches. So yes, the lake is wonderful, but if you come here expecting 44 inches of rain a year, you will be in for a big surprise.
