Avoid this city if you’re a person of color

Have to travel for my job and lake havasu is one of the cities I absolutely hate going. I am from Mexican descent and I’ve been denied services here at least 2 times. I’ve been denied getting gas for my work truck saying they ran out of gas when it was clearly not the case. During this incident I was traveling with a coworker and he went in and was able to receive gas. Another time I had to stay in Havasu for about a week and after my job was done for the day I decided to head out to the London bridge and see what it was about. Never felt so judged in my life wanted to get ice cream nearby was denied entry stating they were closed but I guess that was not the case for the people behind me in line. I don’t usually let these things get to me however when I was heading back to my truck i had an older white man call me a stupid spic. My job knows that this happened and luckily don’t make me travel to the horrendous vile city of lake havasu anymore but beware those whose skin is darker than mayonnaise
