Ugly side of country.........

I lived in Lakeview for 18 years. It is a dirty, windy high desert town with an extreme intolerance of anyone of a different color or of higher educational achievement. Because of the Daly Fund, anyone who has two brain cells to rub together, goes to college and never looks back, leaving a concentration of never-did-wells to fulfull Lakeview's social hierarchy. It is the ugly side of country, a county of hyprocrisy and hatred. It used to be hidden, now it is waved in your face like a political flag.

I've looked at Lakeview as a possible place to live. My dad passed away in June this year, leaving me and my two older siblings the house (which we will be selling soon) and going our own way. I would be moving from Salinas,CA, been to Klamath FAlls and all over Oregon, parts of WAshington and Idaho. I found homes in Lakeveiw within a affordable reach, two-three bedrooms and a yard, as long as the house was kept up well is what I need. There seems to be a few auto parts and repair shops I can work at. I have been working at a busy auto repair shop as a service writer for 20 years.

You sound extremely bitter. Sounds like you made it a point to not fit in because you couldn't change the town to your "ways". Lakeview is definitely a better place without that type of personality.
