Property taxes and weather

I lived in Palm Springs,Oxnard,Bakersfield, California and Fort Worth, Texas. For me the best place I have ever lived is Las Cruces N.M. dollar for dollar and no it is not hotter than any place that I lived in except Oxnard which is a beach city and way too expensive for a hard working middle clase family to live in, forget about buying a home there. Texas is the worst climate I ever lived in humid,muggy,jungle heat and life threating storms,tornados, baseball size hail, and I ALMOST forgot stupidly expensive property TAXES those idiots in state government rape you if you own a nice home to fund the schools, what about the state lottery that was to help pay for schools. Whose redneck wallets are getting waxed. They tax you $1.50 for every 100.00 your home is worth or 1.5 times 200,000 and on top of that county,city,water, etc,etc I got the hell out of Dodge no thanks Texas plus on top of all that you have to give away your home when you sell it no apreciation, you don't even get the taxes you paid back when you sell it.
