Some Really Amazing Churches in the City of the Cr
Star Rating - 7/1/2007
The main reason my family and I remain here is our church - if it weren't for our church we would have moved back to Albuquerque or Santa Fe. We go to Heart for the World (Vineyard) and have been outrageously blessed there for 10 years.

Ours is not the only great church in town, either - I know of a LOTS of others that are full of caring, committed beleivers whose priorities center around serving and worshipping Jesus, growing in Christ, and showing compassion and mercy for the poor and the brokenhearted.

My husband and I both grew up on California - much more multi-cultural, more natural beauty (IMHO), the ocean, museums, libraries, zoos, concerts, the ballet, theater, awesome public transportation etc...and none it is as great here as it was there - we just aren't a big enough city to support all that -- and the desert will never be as lovely to me as the ocean. BUT, we know we are where God wants us to be, in a church body where we are loved, accepted, growing, and free to minister and that is far more important than all the rest. We feel that this little city is a kind of spiritual crossroads from which we can reach out and touch the nations of the world for Jesus!
