Review of Lewiston, Idaho

Country Living. Don't want friends. Place for you
Star Rating - 6/17/2021
We have lived in the Lewiston area for over seven years. If you are a dog person, this is not the place for you. No 24/7 emergency care. Very poor vet care. Our dog recently got very sick in the middle of the night and we had to rush him to Washington State Vet. Teaching clinic (over 50 miles from our home). Thankfully, good weather. Poor Health care. Have to go to Pullman, spokane etc. for the best care and hard to get to in winter if roads are snow covered. No freeways. In the town itself, shopping is not good. Have to go over to Clarkston, WA. If you like great restaurants and easy access to big city entertainment, only two lane highways (no freeways, close by), not the place for you or us anymore. Great place to live if you are a do-it-your self person, like isolation, country person (nothing wrong with that), hunting fishing, etc. .
