Lexington Georgia is a great city to live in

I’ve lived in Lexington Georgia for 25 years . It’s a excellent place to raise a family. In my 61 years and living in three other Southern states and 5 cities, this one is the very best. You get a rural lifestyle but you are only 17 miles from the beautiful city of Athens Georgia where everything is available . The crime rate is very low in Lexington and everyone here is very friendly. I was Postmaster here for 20 years before my retirement so I know the majority of the residents. I would describe all of the residents in Lexington and Crawford as being like family. You are limited in fast foods restaurants but we still have a same variety to chose from. The good thing is you’re only 15 miles from everything . I love this town and plan on living here for the rest of my lifetime.
