Great place for NYC commuters

Moved to Linden a year ago, and really love it. It is bordered on the north by a pretty shady area of Roselle, but that hasn't affected the QOL here. The city is very good at planning recreation activities, and Linden is close to all shopping, highways, and has trains and buses directly into Manhattan - perfect for commuters. It is a quiet, friendly, yet busy little city. We're close to the Rahway River Watershed and other natural resources. The public school system needs improvement, but there are signs that it is coming around.
