Linwood is a relatively quiet rural city between Kansas City and Lawrence, population <1000. It's a nice place to live while in school, and housing is pretty affordable. However, motorcycles and loud redneck engines are loud in the summer as they drive to the one of the only two businesses in town...the local Linwood bar. Linwood is a hidden gem near Kansas City, still untouched by the quickly growing suburbs...for now.
